​La Colmena is delighted that this year’s gala celebrated our 10th anniversary. Since its inception in 2014, La Colmena has been dedicated to supporting day laborers, domestic workers, and other low-wage immigrant workers in Staten Island through organizing, education, culture, and economic development.

In the past decade, La Colmena has helped thousands of immigrant workers through trainings, services, referrals and events. From local to cross borough, we have worked with a diverse range of community partners to bring resources, educational opportunities, job safety and leadership development to Staten Island immigrant communities.

 

Our success would not have been possible without the support of our community. We are also thankful for the contributions of our team members, who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences.
